Your safety and well-being are our top priority.

To support physical distancing and minimize the spread of COVID-19 within health care settings, your initial free 15 mins consultation with us will be a telephone appointment. After your consultation, we will determine together with you whether your treatment appointments will also take place virtually, or if an in-person appointment is necessary.

Please see below for our health and safety procedures as we follow the directions provided by the Provincial Chief Medical Officer of Health (CMOH), the B.C. Ministry of Health’s guidance for the health sector, and the sector-specific workplace safety guidelines. These standards of procedures may change as the pandemic evolves.

BOOKING YOUR APPOINTMENt

  • In-person appointments will be booked with time in between patients to help maintain physical distancing and allow for cleaning after each appointment.

  • Patients are asked to come alone to their appointment.

  • Patients are asked to wear their own mask.

 

PRIOR TO YOUR APPOINTMENT

  • If you are sick, please stay home and complete the self-assessment and follow the instructions provided.

  • Please call or email us prior to entering the clinic to be screened for any symptoms of COVID-19.

 

AS YOU ENTER THE CLINIC

  • Wear your mask (cloth or other) to the clinic.

  • Wash your hands with soap and water or use an alcohol-based sanitizer.

  • Maintain physical distancing with others (2 metres apart).

DURING YOUR APPOINTMENT

  • Disposable sheets and drapes will be used for each patient, if needed.

  • Health care professionals will also be wearing personal protective equipment.

 

AFTER YOUR APPOINTMENT

  • Wash your hands with soap and water or use an alcohol-based sanitizer.

  • If you are wearing gloves, hands must be cleaned before and after removing them. Gloves alone are not a substitute for hand hygiene.

  • All surfaces that come into contact with a patient and health care professional will be cleaned routinely and thoroughly with hard-surface disinfectants approved by Health Canada.
